Very cool and old Calatrava, looking at the serial engraved in the caseback we estimate its one of the first series. The story of this watch is amazing. Before this model wristwatches where not ever really a thing yet. Mostly because of WW1 people became aware that it would be nice to wear a watch on the wrist(before it was mostly pocketwatches, which is very unconfortable if you are in a war). Around the 30s it became a bit of a fashion thing, the answer from Patek was the Calatrava ref 96, they produced this up to the end of the 60s so it was populair for a very long time.
This example is very early and has a beautiful patina on the dial, no real damages and very strong case with some scuff marks. on reuqest it can be polished but we advice against it.
Very cool watch and although small, very elegant and a great piece of history. This watch is running like new.... (which is amazing) and will come with a nice Patek box.
