We always get excited by watches like this. Most of the gold watches from the 50s 60s 70s usually wear down and look very worn as ofcourse gold is much softer then steel. This 1966 massive gold 18K Rose datejust withstood time perfectly.
The case is super sharp, bezel near NOS, dial almost perfect and overall everything on this watch matches 55 years of very very light wear and very careful handeling. Looks good on different kind of straps but we will leave that up to it's new owner.
The Champagne sunburst dial with rose markers and rare doorstop markers on the 6 and 9 is in amazing condition and only the hands have a little patina which could be polished of at next service. Watch has recently been serviced and is in great condition.
