We are doubting if this one should be in a museum or on the wrist ;-). Maybe a bit of both. We are very proud to have one of just a handfull for sale worldwide. Most of the 1530's have a replaced bracelet but this mint example ofcourse comes on it's original bracelet. With an extimated 1500 examples ever made they are very very rare and hard to find, especially in this condition. Everything on this watch is near mint, deep engraving, sharp edges, flawless dial with beautiful patina. strong running and clean movement and no damages or restored damages.
The watch was has such a low production count because the oysterquartz was in the making but the case and bracelet where ready before the movement, so Rolex decided to start producing it with an automatic movement and it was quickly replaced by the quartz movement. Beautiful piece of Rolex history and destined to go up in value.
